temping around

My first day of my temp job has officially ended.

I am working for a not-for-profit health care organization with offices across Canada. This company has recently consolidated their Atlantic Canada branches into one office, meaning that data that was previously entered into the system by individual branches has suddenly been dumped on the desk of one very overworked receivables manager. My mission, now that I have chosen to accept it, is to enter this miscellaneous data into the system in the hopes that my clearing off the backlog will make future entries a little easier to manage.

It’s monotonous, it’s boring, it’s quiet, and it pays twelve dollars per hour. Every cloud has a silver lining.

  1. Congrats on the temp job! Definitely better than no job at all! 🙂
