…and on the eighth day, sanity reigned

You knew that this was coming:

“Intelligent design” cannot be mentioned in biology classes in a Pennsylvania public school district, a federal judge said Tuesday, ruling in one of the biggest courtroom clashes on evolution since the 1925 Scopes trial.

Dover Area School Board members violated the Constitution when they ordered that its biology curriculum must include the notion that life on Earth was produced by an unidentified intelligent cause, U.S. District Judge John E. Jones III said.

There is a time and a place for everything. School is the place to learn about all things scientific and experimental. Church is the place to learn about religion. If communities want to educate children about the idea of a deity creating the world, why aren’t they teaching that in church? I know that if I wanted to learn more about God, I would not go to my local high school — I would go to my local church. And that is the way that it should be.
