now they tell us

The hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church has published a teaching document instructing the faithful that some parts of the Bible are not actually true.

[…]The Bible is true in passages relating to human salvation, they say, but continue: “We should not expect total accuracy from the Bible in other, secular matters.”

Maybe now we will see some common sense used when it comes to matters like abortion, homosexuality and intelligent design. When the people who are charged to speak for God say that the Bible is not 100% accurate and that there are some things within its pages that have to be left up to individual interpretation, how can religious zealots continue to proclaim that the Bible is all-knowing and never wrong?

Never mind, dumb question.
