remembering

Sixty years ago today, the United States of America opened a can of whoop-ass on people who had done nothing to them. Today is the anniversay of the nuclear attack on Hiroshima.

I think that every time the President of the United States says that he has a right to send troops into battle to avenge the deaths of his citizens, someone should remind him of what was done to an innocent people sixty years ago. Because it wasn’t soldiers that were killed by that bomb. It was innocent men, women and children who were just trying to go about their day-to-day lives. I firmly believe that the dropping of the atomic bomb at Hiroshima should be classified as one of the first true terrorist attacks in history.
