Forty-eight posts.
Twenty-four hours.
Over two-hundred unique visitors to my site.
$75 dollars raised.
Four fabulous sponsors.
Three slices of stuffed crust pizza.
Two library books.
And a partridge in a pear tree.
Thank Christ it’s all over.
Many thanks again to my wonderful sponsors: Bryan, Laurie, Ruth, and Staci. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and commented. Thanks to the people who thought up the Blogathon for…well…thinking up the Blogathon. I can’t think of anyone else to thank or acknowledge, so I’m just going to go to sleep now. The apartment is shaking with thunder from the storm that we’re currently having, but at this point I really don’t care. I’ll see you all in a week when I wake up.
Oh, and help control the pet population: have your pet spayed or neutered. I know it’s Bob Barker’s line, but it seems like an appropriate sign-off.
Goodnight and thank you!

LOL! Sleep deprived you may have been, but your sense of humor was still on full alert when you wrote this!
I agree with your sentiments… thankfulness for your sponsors and commentors and monitor and Blogathon inventors… but mostly that it’s finally over!
It was fun, but that last hour was ETERNAL!
Sleep well, I’ll be in touch soon! Sponsoring you was a real pleasure, as was getting to know you! Hope we’ll stay in touch.
